Tegloma's programs are undertaken after rigorous needs assessment surveys in the rural communities we serve.
Tegloma identifies a target community; local implementation groups then work with the target community and provide technical and other assistance as well as monitor progress and impact.
ANTI-MALARIA PROJECT
Malaria is a major hazard for the health of rural populations and therefore has a direct impact on the productivity of those populations. Tegloma Federattion Inc intends to work with partner organizations to purchase and distribute mosquito nets among these rural populations as well as fund community training/education (led by environmental health professionals on mosquito (vector) control. >> READ MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT.
GIRL CHILD EDUCATION PROJECT
This program aims to provide school materials, uniforms, and other fees and incentives for girls who would otherwise be unable to attend school. HEALTHCARE WORKER TRAINING PROJECT
Tegloma plans to train community healthcare nurses (SECHN), paramedical staff (community dispensers and healthcare professionals), traditional birth attendants (traditional midwives trained in modern medical skills and skill levels and equipped by Tegloma with the necessary equipment to practice in their communities.>> READ MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT
WATER WELL PROJECT
Among several visionary programs outlined by the late Dr. Joseph A. Williams was his determination to work with various rural communities in providing water wells equipped with hand pumps that would deliver potable, clean, and sustainable sources of drinking water for those communities.
